Latin America : GEOS group on special tour in the region
Members of the Board will visit Latin America in September. Upon the occasion of their visit, several events will be organized by local staff. On the program, a cocktail to celebrate the ten years of the Group to be held in Caracas on the 16th, a breakfast conference on the issue of “Protecting companies in high risk countries” in partnership with the Franco-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the 18th in Mexico City, and a luncheon conference at the Chamber of Commerce of Rio on the 24th.

In-house promotions
Laurent Combalbert, former Director of Group Business Development, has been appointed Director of the GEOS Group's International Security Department.
Graduate of the French Higher National Police Officers' Academy (ENSOP) and of the FBI National Academy, Laurent Combalbert spent several years as a crisis negotiator with the RAID, the elite French SWAT unit, before joining GEOS in 2004. He is the author of several books including Le management des situations de crise (Crisis Situation Management) published in 2005.
Laurent Combalbert, a shareholder of the GEOS Group since January 2008, will assume his new functions on September 01, 2008, seconded by Dominique Montecer, International Security Director of Operations.
Irfan Duman, former Deputy Director of Group Business Development, has been appointed GEOS Group Director of Business Development.
Graduate of the Bordeaux Institute of Political Science, he will assume his new functions on September 01, 2008.
These appointments are part of the Group's in-house promotion policy and are aimed at strengthening the Group's international.
