May 14, 2009 Sensitization Training of ECHO personnel in DAKAR On May 25 – 29, GEOS EUIR (GEOS Representation to European Institutions) will provide a security orientation session to 30 humanitarian relief aid personnel from the European Commission. The training session is the third in a series of 23 sessions to take place in seven countries.

May 03, 2009 « The movie “The Child of Kabul” was released in France on April 29. Afghanistan Demain, Afghanistan Demain, the association sponsored by GEOS, allowed the filmmakers to use their facilities and the name of the association appears on screen Synopsis : the film recounts the wanderings of a cab driver in Kabul after he finds a small boy abandoned on the back seat of his taxi by one of his clients. Over the next three days, the cab driver tries to find shelter for the little boy. The movie moves through the labyrinthine streets of the Afghan capital. Along the way, life in the capital is captured on screen and the association Afghanistan Demain plays a part! Two French actors play the role of expatriates and their scenes were shot in the offices of the association sponsored by GEOS.
