Prior to the launch of an important in the region, a major delegation of a multinational corporation asked GEOS to provide security for all surface transport and lodgings in a zone reputed to be unstable.
The GEOS Coordinator who accompanied the delegation was able to count on the active support of our local networks in order to identify the safest itineraries and residences while implementing a discreet protection system.

One year before the beginning of the war in Iraq and the bomb attacks in Riyadh, GEOS carried out a series of audits, on behalf of a major firm, concerning accommodation for expatriates. We also analysed the impact of the changing security situation in the region.

ASSISTANCE CLOSE COVER PROTECTION WORLD - ALGERIA - 2002
The MEDEF international (French Industrial Consortium) requested GEOS-Algeria - subsidiary of the GEOS Group - and Carlson Wagon-lits to organise the voyage of 120 company directors to Algiers.
The project was carried out in close cooperation with a renowned travel agency, the French and Algerian authorities, and gave all participants the security and peace of mind required.

CRISIS MANAGEMENT - IVORY COAST - JANUARY 2003
All commercial flights were suspended during the serious social upheaval in the capital city in January 2003.
The GEOS Emergency Response Room organised the evacuation of expatriates using contract pilots and a airlift system to bring them to safe neighboring countries.

PERSONAL SECURITY DETAIL - LATIN AMERICA - JUNE 2005
A businessman received death threats on the eve of his departure for South America where he was to conduct highlevel negotiations. GEOS Protection implemented a 24 hour security detail at his home in order to protect his art collection, and sent a security escort to relieve him of all security concerns for the duration of his trip.
The businessman was reassured and due to the security system put into place by GEOS was able to concentrate fully on the negotiation and sign the contracts in question.

HOTLINE - ANGOLA - 2006
Over a weekend a call on our hotline activated the GEOS crisis centre. The mission was to locate a expatriate who had disappeared a few hours previously. After 48 hours of searh operations the expatriate was found and brought to a safe haven.
A medical team were on site for the repatriation.

JOURNEY MANAGEMENT - CAUCASUS AND CASPIAN SEA
A multinational corporation asked GEOS to ensure the organisation and coordination of a trip by a corporate delegation to the Causcasus region for the launch of a major industrial project. The journey to this unstable region was conducted under the escort of a GEOS security coordinator and his team. For the purposes of the mission, GEOS local networks were activated.
The resources deployed meant that the journey of the delegation members went ahead without incident.
