International Security - Business Travel ASSISTANCE CLOSE COVER PROTECTION WORLD - ALGERIA - 2002 The MEDEF international (French Industrial Consortium) requested GEOS-Algeria - subsidiary of the GEOS Group - and Carlson Wagon-lits to organise the voyage of 120 company directors to Algiers. The project was carried out in close cooperation with a renowned travel agency, the French and Algerian authorities, and gave all participants the security and peace of mind required.

The GEOS Emergency Response Room organised the evacuation of expatriates using contract pilots and a airlift system to bring them to safe neighboring countries.
Safety / Security - Business Travel PERSONAL SECURITY DETAIL - LATIN AMERICA - JUNE 2005 A businessman received death threats on the eve of his departure for South America where he was to conduct highlevel negotiations. GEOS Protection implemented a 24 hour security detail at his home in order to protect his art collection, and sent a security escort to relieve him of all security concerns for the duration of his trip. The businessman was reassured and due to the security system put into place by GEOS was able to concentrate fully on the negotiation and sign the contracts in question.
International Security - Expatriation HOTLINE - ANGOLA - 2006 Over a weekend a call on our hotline activated the GEOS crisis centre. The mission was to locate a expatriate who had disappeared a few hours previously. After 48 hours of searh operations the expatriate was found and brought to a safe haven. A medical team were on site for the repatriation.

The journey to this unstable region was conducted under the escort of a GEOS security coordinator and his team. For the purposes of the mission, GEOS local networks were activated. The resources deployed meant that the journey of the delegation members went ahead without incident.
