GEOS opens bureau in Brussels
After several years of active presence in the European capital city, GEOS opens a bureau in Brussels, to respond to the needs and demands of European institutions and the local community of political and economic decision-makers.

This new subsidiary will be run by Didier Ranchon, who joins the GEOS Group as Vice-President of GEOS International, in charge of the promotion and business development of the GEOS service range in Europe.

Mr. Didier Ranchon will act as the GEOS representative in Brussels. He will be responsible for the development and expansion of the “prevention, operational assistance and crisis management”, “territorial security” and “country risk tracking” services, as well as the promotion of GEOS Training Programs.  Didier Ranchon will also take charge of the promotion and commercialisation of GEOS services tailored to the Tourism Industry.

After holding operational positions in France and abroad with the Ministries of the Interior and Foreign Affairs, Didier Ranchon directed the Quai D’Orsay’s Emergency Response and Tracking Centre for four years. During his tenure there, he gained unique experience and insight into the management of major, international crisis response operations, be they security (Ivory Coast, Lebanon), health (avian flu), or natural disaster-related (Tsunami, Katrina).

Annual Seminar :
GEOS SETS TARGETS FOR 2006/2007

For its annual seminar, nearly sixty staff members of the GEOS Group came together. Certain personnel came from the farthest branches of the Group’s international network. Following an analysis of the business environment and, looking forward, a prospective scan of the Group’s markets by members of the Board of Management, the different directors of the five core service departments outlined their objectives for the coming year. A forecast figure of 25 million euro was announced.
